Golf clubs question?

i have recently got a intrest in golf and i want to get my own clubs . is there a good website to look for them and how do i know what size is right

Im in the same boat you are.  I was talking to some of the guys i work with about Golfing and one of them gave me his old set of clubs.  I got them saturday and there really nice Pings.  Im on my way to the driving range in a little bit to test them out!

Bottom line talk it up and see if any one will give you or lend you their old sets.  

Free is the way to go.  If not go to ***** sporting goods they have a set for 199.00 there on sale this week and there normally 299.00  Best of luck!

It looks like you already have a few websites to check out. I'd also suggest that you consider getting your clubs custom fitted.

You may be thinking that this will cost big $$'s but that isn't the case. One of the biggest mistakes beginners make is to play with clubs that aren't right for them.

My suggestion is to check out www.Pinemeadowgolf.com or Gigagolf.com. Both of these sites sell "clone" golf clubs and offer an on-line fitting tool.

well since ur just starting there is really no point of buying really expensive clubs. you should try progolfdiscount.com. you also need to make sher that u don't get stiff shafts because if ur just starting u probably don't swing that hard anyway.

Well if you are just starting your not going to want to get very expensive clubs but some good websites are www.golfsmith.com, www.tgw.com, www.golfgalaxy.com, and ebay if your ok with used ones.  It depends how tall you are... most clubs are made for people about 5 foot 10.  If you are above 6 foot 2 get them custom made
