I'm looking for one which is good but also (relatively) cheap.

Mobo is an ASUS P4SD-VL motherboard in a Sony pcv-rz504 desktop.

Looking to play games like COD4 and possibly Crisis (does NOT have to be on high settings etc.) Before you tell me it can't be done I know many people who play crisis etc. on AGP

Would it be possible to fit two cheap graphic card which will out-perform a more expensive thing or does it not work like that with AGP. Im guessing if it doesn't support PCI it won't support crossfire etc.

The one i'm looking at is, thoughts please:http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductReview.aspx?Item=14-102-073&SortField=0&SummaryType=0&Pagesize=10&SelectedRating=4&PurchaseMark=&VideoOnlyMark=False&Keywords=&Page=2

  1. I recommand you to buy new motherboard and a new PCI-E 2.0 graphic card like ati HD3870, HD3870x2, HD4850, HD4870 or HD4870x2 to play the high requirements games like crysis. You will no need crossfire but still can enjoy your games well and the PCI-E 2.0 graphic card is well perform than AGP. Thanks. @ http://tecknu.blogspot.com

One can be had for about the same as you're paying for the x1650, and its twice as fast.  I actually run the x800, and I get about 50-100fps in most games at 1440x900.  Its a great card and will give life to your aging system for about another year.  Crossfire is only supported with two identical slots, both cards have to be run at the same speed, and you cant do that with AGP.

  3. no AGP card does not support SLI or crossfire they are for single use only.

i suggest you do a google seach for geforce 7600GT or 7800GT in Agp interface.

it may take a few minutes of seaching because most manufacturer have stopped producing Agp cards and so very few vendors have AGP cards to sell.
