Good Friday Match?

What is your opinion of a Good Friday AFL match?

Would you be for or against it, why?

One game played in Melbourne with the proceeds to go to the Children's Hospital fund.

there could be a special match in Melbourne between representative teams, Victoria vs the rest of Australia, limited to players with less than 25 league games apiece - that way we get to see the rising stars but the clubs can't whinge about injured leaders - and the proceeds to either the Royal Children's Hospital appeal, or divided amongst the other Children's Hospitals if the Rest of wins.

They play rugby league on good friday so why mot afl. It woould be great to have a game on. It is just another friday means nothing to me.

i can't see any reason not to, the NRL do, the ovens and murray do, why can't the AFL.

the AFL should have a night game and donate the gate to the royal childrens hospital appeal, that would be gr8 P R for the league and we would get out footy fix.

a night game wouldnt hurt.

While we are still a mostly Christian country, whether we go to church or not, It's nice remember what Easter is really about.

I'm wondering how much longer it will be 'politically correct' to have Christian holidays!
