Good News wanted about the UK?

Question

l've been heavily criticising the UK lately with regard to lack of action,Georgia wises.To redress the balance,l am asking for folks to list something that the UK is world class at,anything..To set the ball rolling,yesterday a report stated that young people from the UK have the widest age range of friends anywhere in the world.Which is terrific if you are a young old person like myself (38) who gets accepted into all age ranges.It also infers that Britains young are some of the world's most broad minded.

Well I cannot think of any just now, as my brain is washed out with all this rain we are having.In any case please stop talking about us in that way you naughty boy, as when I come to your Country I do not say things about you. Our young people are no worse than anyone else, but a few are and to me they let the side down. But we all hope in the future they will learn that to make an error in any walk of life does not maketh the man. As we grow up we try and mend our ways, but alas some do not and that applies to all Countries. Be good and live your life as others should try too as well,

I'm an EFL teacher and have taught all over the world. UK music is big everywhere and we are well known for our sports. We may have had a few knock backs in the football seasons recently but we kick *** in the entertainment industry and during sporting events. Our football teams are known in many countries and our country invented a lot of the modern TV shows ie Pop idol, _____got talent, X factor, Ballroom shows and so on. We're also top in literature with creativity, so we might be a small island with a few problems but we're still stakes ahead in some avenues.

Well...I love the U.K. I am turning down the chance of a life in Australia because I love Britain  too much...Britain is great at Comedy..the best in the world. Britain is great at taking the mick out of itself. We have the most beautiful and sought after universities in the world and the most stunning lanscape (or one of them) and the most interesting history...and we're as hard as nails!

I think we're generally very broadminded in getting on with all age groups and in enjoying the benefits that all the different cultures bring to our country such as the opportunity to try a whole world of different cuisines and also belief systems and new ideas.

the UK is probably one of the safest places to live and as for the georgia incident i dont see why other countries should be dragged into it, it just creates more conflict and i thought they had called a ceasefire on that anyway. the uk is a safe and rich place and probably has the most different nationalities that have visited or live there for such a small country
