Good car for tweaking?

Ok, I'm looking for a car for me, but I haven't really found a model except for the celica that has a nice body and one that I could have some fun tweakin it out, I want to black it out, black paint black rims, and get a cold air intake, some nice exhausts, etc. What car models would you recommend that are relatively low priced?

As always, the best car for tweaking is going to be the largest one on the market.  Of course this is going to be the honda market.  Your probably going to be looking at the cheapest for a Civic but you can definitely get a Prelude which is probably more your style for fairly cheap and much more reliable than a Celica.

VW Golf is very easy to modify and is not as expensive and is cool... looks awesome in black! has many extras and is comfortable!
