Good games for a Homecoming Bonfire?

I'm in charge of the student council committee that's responsible for picking games. Seeing as how teachers and administrators will be present, the games should all be pg rated, and safe. There'll be a lot of people there, so we want something that will be exciting for everyone to watch; it'd be next to impossible to safely get everyone to actually play the games (way too many people).

You could have a 'mini olympics' and assult courses.

Eg. run then army crawl under net, then run, jump in a sack, bob for an apple, trade it for an egg and spoon and peg it to the finish line. The hammer with a handbag. Discus with a CD. Piggyback races. Wheelbarrow races. Tree legged races. First team to wrap someone in toilet paper.

Make up others and give out chocolate gold coins as gold, silver and bronze.
