Good luggage brands?

Question

we're going on a trip soon and we need to go get some good, high quality, but not like 5000 dollar luggage. our last luggage came from mervyns and only lasted one trip -_-

&a place to get that luggace would be good to include :/ we live in california, bay area

i really like kipling and travel pro. macy's often have sales with their luggage, and i got a great deal on a travel pro rolley/carry on set! online, too kipling is pricey now, but i've had mine for over ten years and they're still great. [: good luck!

I can tell you what luggage NOT to get: Atlantic Luggage.  Terrible!  It completely shattered after only 1 trip.

Eagle Creek has really great luggage www.eaglecreek.com.  They have a great warranty, which you will likely never need as the pieces are really well put together.
