  1. Although this does seem to be a good pj for the price I'd be careful.  First off I'm assuming it's not new so who knows how many hours are left on the lamp.  In a few months that $500 pj could become $800 if you have to replace the lamp.

Secondly, because the native resolution is only 1024 X 768 it is not considered a "true" HD projector.  You must have at least 1280 X 720 to get 720p which is true HD.

It's doubtful you will find a 720p for $500 or less even refurbished so you will have to decide whether the extra $300 or so is worth it for true HD.  I will tell you though that my first couple of projectors were NOT 720p either and the big picture still looked pretty good so I doubt you'll be disapointed unless you're already used to looking at 720p or 1080p.

  2. go to ebay or amazon.com

best places to buy good stuff thats cheap

  3. InFocus IN72, if you can get it on this price. It has native resolution of 480P, which means 'NTSC'. It's great to watch DVD.

Unless you are watching HDTV (HD DVD or BluRay), then you need higher resolution projector.

    Cheers!

they will be able to answer any questions you would have. In my opinion I would be hesitant to buy a projector off of ebay, is this a new or used one.  Remember most projectors bulbs have a life expectancy of around 2,000 hrs and most bulbs cost $200 to $400.  Make sure to look at the Lums is it widescreen or not.  Go to proectorpeople and they have a section where you can fill out what you are looking for and recomend projectors two you.
