  1. scotch and whiskey are the same. scotch is called scotch because it comes from Scottland. I love Glenlevit, Bushmills is good also.

  2. Glenmorgie/ or Glenlivet good stuff of over seas (Scotland) home grown Makers mark!

  3. Try 12-year-old Glenmorangie (Maderia or Port) or the 16-year-old Glenlivet (Nadurra).

    Prepare to be gobsmacked.

  4. A dearly departed old friend got me into Isle of Jura Scotch.

    Buy it.

    Try it.

    Love it.

    My favorite.

  5. Dalwhinnie 15 Year Old or Balvenie 12 Year Old Double Wood are two of the most beautiful single malts I've ever had.

The Dalwhinnie, served in a rock glass with ice, let the ice melt for a couple minutes and blend with the scotch.  It goes down so smooth.  Has the hint of pears and other fruits.

The Balvenie is a double cask.  Oak for X amount of years and Cherry for the rest.  Amazing scotch with just a hint of the Cherry wood.  Again, let the ice in the glass partially melt and blend with the scotch.
