Which would be better for pressing a skateboard. Which one is stronger.

I hope gorilla glue because it is ten time easier to work with.

  1. Gorilla glue.  The board needs to be able to flex some.  Gorilla glue bonds softer.  Epoxy becomes extremely hard and brittle and your board will end up splintering if you use it.

  2. You can find epoxy that will hold to much more tensile strength than gorilla glue.  It is harder too work with but will hold better.  My experience with gorilla glue is that it will foam out excess a bit, which I always have to scrape off so whatever I was fixing didn't look like garbage.

  3. i think gorilla glue

  4. skip the  gorilla glue and go with E6000. You can get it at most craft stores and many hardware stores.  There is no mixing and it dries slightly flexible.

  5. Gorilla Glue is not all it's cracked up to be. Yes it gives a strong bond at first but it weakens. I work with adhesives that make Gorilla look like kids' stuff. I assume you are laminating several layers of wood or composites so use what the manufacturers use. If it's epoxy find out exactly what type they use. If all else fails, good ol' carpenters' glue will work well if you keep the deck pressed for at least a couple of days.

  6. I say gorilla glue if you let it dry well
