Got 2 yugioh questions?

first of all alot of people recomend me use book of moon and silfeed in my wind deck? i dont see why neither of them are very good, atleast thats what i think. and this is a corny question but im bored, so if you had any choice which yugioh monster would you choose as you spirit thingy

Use neither, unless you can figure out a combo with them. As for my spirit I would choose Decoy Dragon.

Book of Moon is just considered a general all around good card. It can be used to reuse flip effects, block attacks, protect your monsters from Lightning Vortex, as such most people recommend it for all decks.

The Silfeed is special summoned by removing one wind monster from your graveyard, whcih increases the swarming capabilities of your deck, it also allows you to bring out a tribute monster quicker since you can just special summon Silfeed and tribute it right off.

I not quite sure on the wind deck as i use CB but i think you should put book of moon in , but as you said both of them are pritty bad, My spirit would be saphire pegasus.
