Gov't Whistleblowers - Heros or Traitors?

When government goes corrupt, would you rather know or be kept in the dark? Are they patriots or traitors?

As you probably know, our gov't is a system of checks and balances, put into place to keep any sole entity from gaining too much power. Without whistleblowers keeping the corrupt in check, our system of gov't would fall into collapse, or yet worse, we'd be ruled by a dictator or a tyrant.

I wouln't go as far as heroes but slightly redeemed - who would be a traitor a corrupt government or somebody shedding light on propaganda behind the scenes.

Scott McClellan did a great job (while still tried to save Bush's ***$) - at least confirmed the suspicions at some level.

It all depends on who you ask  if you ask a politician  there called Traitors of you ask Joe citizen  it would be lest than a hero but far from a Traitor

Well, crooked republicans sure don't like them!  Even though there's laws protecting "whistle blowers", the republicans take them out and shoot them anyway.  

With crooked republicans everything's a secret!!
