  1. Everyone wants something for nothing and you want a free list of tax foreclosures.

Remember: When it comes to quality you get what you pay for... if you pay nothing, you get nothing...

  2. Marion County (Indianapolis) has a tax lien sale in October. About 45 days before the auction they should have a list of properties that are in tax arrears.  The owners still have until the day of the auction to pay up so not all listed properties will be on the sale.

Owners still have 6 months to a year to reimburse the winning bidder for all taxes paid plus interest. Within 6 months after the redeemable period you can file for a tax deed at the County Offices.

For further information go to Marion County Tax Assessors Website or email or write to them.

  3. The lender or its successor in interest has a deed of trust lien against the property.  No matter what the TV hucksters try to tell your friends you cannot buy a 340K home for $1,500.00.  The mortgage lien is still a claim against the people who put nothing down and never paid a dime of the home mortgage debt nor any real estate taxes.  Yet, your society calls them "victims."
