Graduation Party? Ideas?

Ok so im in 8th grade and we have are graduation and then we go over to the gym and eat, theres always a theme like last year they did hawiian! are class doesnt no what to do i suggested an italian formal like theme? i need decoration ideas for that...also any other themes would be great..we've desided were having italian food no matter what the theme is ...thannk you!!
