  1. The fact that she's almost 11 months and already on solids means that she's getting more vitamins than you realize. A lot of the added vitamins and minerals in formula is there to help build the infants immune system. Her immune system should be well established at this age. She should be fine to move on to whole milk.

  2. Relax. grandma is not out of control and it looks like you are doing all the right things regarding the nutrition of your child.

  3. My middle daughter began to wean herself from breast feeding at 11 months.  I didn't want to start her on formula for only 1 month so I asked her doctor about beginning cow's milk and he said there wasn't any problem with it.  She's really not losing much in the way of nutrients if she is eating a good variety of solids.  It isn't that the day a baby turns 12 months old she is suddenly different and doesn't need formula, but rather this is an age that most children will not show an allergic reaction.  I think if you are that concerned that you could easily mix 1/2 cow's milk with 1/2 formula and she wouldn't likely know the difference.  Truthfully, though, I know many babies who begin drinking whole cow's milk before 12 months and do just fine.

  4. SLAP YOUR GRANDMOTHER FOR RUINING YOUR DAUGHTERS HEALTH!!!!!

WHOLE MILK? ARE YOU SERIOUS? WOW....TAKE HER TO COURT!

  5. Calm down.  She's fine/  My little girl started whole milk younger than that and shes amazingly healthy.  Especially if your kid is eating solids.  Drop it.  It's cheaper anyway.

  6. bring the grandma with you to the docter and ask him<3

  7. Talk to your doctor but I don't think whole milk will harm your child and if they are eating food food.. it can't hurt.. and they probably are getting some vitiams when you feed them food correct???

  8. plain and simiple talk to your doctor. you don't want to end up harming your baby.

  9. She is basically 11 months old right?  I dont see much harm in her drinking the milk now.  If she was any younger I would think different but she should be fine.  I wouldnt add any vitamins though, not to her milk.  There are infant vitamins that come in liquid form if you are worried but I wouldnt add it to the milk, it may turn her off on the milk.

  10. At that age, its ok to have switched to whole milk.  Get the vitamin drops and squeeze them in her lil mouth...they are cherry flavored now, and kids love them.
