  1. The real "players" in the ceremony are the parents, godparents  and the baby of course.

    There is no specific role for  grandparents but if you want to involve them, you could have them do a reading, host a reception at their house afterwards or help you to get the baby ready.


  2. They don't have a certain designated role in the baptism. They will obviously be there to support you and your baby and take pictures but there is no specific role.

  3. thier role is whatever you want it to be. this is your child not thiers!
