Graphics Card help needed?

ok i am wondering is there a version of the Niviada geforce 8600 or 8800 that can be used on a mini tower computer?

You may want to look into 128MB cards or lower since most 256 and up have cool sinc and fans that take up space.

Definitely not the 8800... it's hard enough to get that card into a sinlge full-sized slot.

The best low-profile cards available are probably the Geforce 8500GT and Radeon HD2400.

If there's a low profile 8600 out there, I haven't seen it for sale anywhere...

It depends on your interface. Are you using AGP or PCI?? The NG8600 will not fit a Mini tower with AGP this I know. BUT I'm not sure when it comes to PCI or PCI express. Not a full answer but hope it puts you in the right direction

You mean a low-profile card? I kind of doubt it, but you could search around.
