  1. If there was no vet bill, then why would you ask him for money???  Don't sign anything saying your dog is fine.  If any of those "little holes" gets infected, you may find yourself at the vet in a few days with a bigger problem.

You may consider taking him over anyway.  When dogs bite, often times it looks like just a little hole, but there is damage underneath the skin you don't notice if you're not trained to look for it.  If that's the case, it will cause further damage down the road for your pup.  If the guy is willing to pay for vet bills, I think you're foolish to not take your dog in to be checked out.

  2. i would still take him to the vet because he needs to have the puncture wounds looked at.  they skin could have been pulled away and that can cause an infection to start and may need some drains to be put in and be put on antibiotics.  please take the guy up on his offer for your dog's sake.  it could be more serious than you think.  just get him looked at atleast.

  3. Please spell correctly that was hard to read. But no do not take him up on his offer. Your dog is fine, not injured, so why take his money for no reason?

  4. if your dog didnt need any vet care, then what offer?

He offered to pay the vet bills (he would have had to do that legally anyways as he was violating a leash law).

If you have no vet bills, then there's nothing for him to pay.  Keep an eye on your dog's wounds.  If they become infected and do require care, then you can present the other owner with that bill.
