Lots of people are answering the Himalayas, which is the obvious answer, but there's another answer that I think is quite interesting.  It's called the Mid-Oceanic Ridge.  It is the largest contiguous geological formation on earth- running for more than 40,000 miles uninterrupted.  It is submerged in the ocean (except for Iceland, which is part of it) and was entirely unknown until the 1950s.  It may not have the tallest mountains relative to the surrounding altitude of the abyssal floor but its definitely the longest mountain range in the world.
