  1. Depends on what you want to buy.  If you're buying organic foods then sure that company is "green."  Not because they're better at preserving the environment then say a computer company, but because of what they sell.  A computer company (in order to stay in business) has to manufacture products that are artificial and may do more damage to the environment.  So if you're into "green" buying then don't buy things that the company has no other option but to pollute to produce.  Every company pollutes to some degree but some like a steel company have no other choice because certain byproducts are just part of the industry just like CO2 is a byproduct of our breathing.  So the answer is to buy things that don't involve polluting which rules out things like cars, computers, TVs, Air-conditioners, dishwashers, refrigerators, stoves, basically anything from a factory.

  2. My neighbor recommended Cyber-Rain's smart sprinkler controller to help me save water - great "green" product and helps save water effortlessly.

  3. Trader Joe's.  They rock...they have lots of organic food--fresh fruit even packaged organic food.  Organic farmers dont use the pesticides that their commercial counterparts use and use less waste. Honda is green....i have a civic and i have saved lots of $$$$ less emissions in the air. green is good.
