Question:

Greyhound bus? carry-on items?

I was going to bring my backpack with my laptop and stuff in it for my first carry on and my skateboard strapped to my backpack as my second.

Is that allowed, or do I have to put it under the bus and worry about it getting stolen?

Also, I'm 15 and that's the age you need to be but I don't really have a way to prove to them I am. What should I do about that?

Oh and another thing, how do you know when you're transferring buses? Do they tell you at the stop? or you just have to know. ?

  1. DO NOT USE GREYHOUND their service is very bad

you wil get lied  too Oh sure we have  second section of that

run yea sure THE NEXT DAY!

if the bus showss the driver miight not even  know to find the next stop

    or even speak enlisgh

then you could end up standing on the bus (which is a vilation of

Federal laws!) or the bus could break down or get to an accident

and for connection the other bus will NOT wait for connecions

if your bus is running late

sorry your bus is late but other bus had to leave and Greyhojund is not responnabvle for anything they lose or even getting you hotel room

in case you miss your connection

or the restroom could overflow with human waste ARE YOU SURE YOU NEED TO TAKE GREYHOUND?

I suggeest amtrak (you will safe and lots more comfy)

  2. It depends on the bus.   If there is space they should let you bring it on.  If there isn't then you'll have to put it underneath.

Don't worry about age.  They don't really care.

The driver usually announces the name of each stop as you get  to it.

Greyhound is cheaper, but sometimes there are shady people on there.  Amtrak is more expensive, but more comfortable.

  3. ok you can put the backpack and skateboard combo in the overhead and use the laptop while going down the road(use headphones)

they have charging ststions at the terminals just watch your stuff

the transfers will be on your ticket you can check with customer service when you arrive at the terminal to see what gate you need to be at

get in line in front of the gate about 30 min before the bus is susposto be there so you get a decient seat

i like the isle so i can use my laptop to go online and watch movies

and oh yea greyhound really sucks but hey they are cheap

go to greyhound for schedules times and fares

    goodluck

  4. I would honestly suggest avoiding Greyhound in favor of Amtrak or an alternative bus company as Greyhound recently underwent an ownership change and the service is rather unpredictable at the moment.
