  1. If he might get his finger crushed (i.e. severe damage without the ring itself getting touched) then it will delay reconstructive surgery while they had to find better cutters (no, they're not going to cut the finger off deliberately). However, given that no one wears their wedding band when they're doing work it's probably ok.

  2. Tungsten, especially if your soon to be husband does a lot of work with his hands. The ring can't be scratched or broken.

Also (before this is even brought up!), contrary to popular belief, if your husband is ever in an accident, the finger would not need to be cut off - the ring would need to be shattered.

  3. Titanium cannot be cut, or even engraved, so if he works with his hands at all it would not be a good idea in case of injury.

  4. Here's some:

All in one link many of them.

  5. I like the Tungsten rings - and so does my husband. He works a lot with his hands. That ring has been through a lot and it doesn't have a scratch on it. If only mine were that durable...LOL

I recommend Sears for the groom's ring. We didn't think we would find anything there, but we looked and they actually had a nice selection. Plus, it was affordable.

  6. It's whatever the man prefers. The titanium is a lighter medal according to weight on his finger, but the tungsten is more durable if he does a lot of outdoor work and what not. My fiancee works inside but he preferred the tungsten so that's what I bought for him. Take him to a jewelers and let him try different ones on first.

  7. my husband has a tungsten - its super light weight and its so comfortable...it has like a soft fitting curve  inside....hard to explain, but they are fairly inexpensive, comfy and look good.
