Guadalajara Jalisco to El Grullo Jalisco?

Question

Any suggestions on bus transportation from Guadalajara to El Grullo. Would it be safe and cheap to go by bus or rent a car? Approximately how long would the trip be-------time wise and distance. Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give.

Going on bus is the best option, especially if you have not been there before.  I don't really know which buses take you there, but I'm sure you will have plenty of information at the bus station.  What  I do know is that there are some buses that go straight to El Grullo, and others take you to Autlan, so just ask about it. I read a comment here that said  it cost 1 or 2 pesos by bus, but that is definately NOT TRUE. It is not expensive but not that cheap either.  Hope this helps!!! Enjoy El Grullo.  I forgot, by bus it will take around 3 hours to get there.

El Grullo is southeast of Guadalajara and 3-4hours by bus.

The bus would be your least expensive option.Renting a car in Mexico is expensive and might be a problem for you if you have never driven in Mexico or don't know exactly where you are going.

The busses in Mexico are safe,inexpensive and effecient. Hope this helps you ...Enjoy your trip.

Well I'm not that sure what bus you should take but it is safe. I think the bus transportation would cost between 1 to 2 pesos.

Also it might take 2 1/2 hours. Hope this help.
