Question:

Guatemalan ghost story

I had a Guatemalan friend tell me of this ghost story about a woman that would appear in a river. She had long hair which she continuously combed and she would appear facing away from you. After a short while of singing, she would turn to you and to your horror, you would see that she has a horse's head on a female body. From what I remember, he called her "Siwanawa" but I can't find anything related to this. Any ideas?
