Guinea pig issues? and soccial security?

okay my guinea pig is acting weird i only had him for a week before i can get him and now i try laying my hands softly to get him he runs away why? ALSO MY SOCIAL SECUIRTY OKA MY DAD PASSED AWAY WHEN HE WAS ALIVE I GOT SOME MONEY LIKE 300 AND WELL I AM SUPPOSE TO GET 600 WELL WOULD I STILL GET THE 300 AND 600 CHECK I LIVE IN NEW MEXICO PLEASE HELP THANK U BY THE WAY IM 16

hey, i know it is really hurtful when the guinea pigs run away. You have to be gentle, repetative, and in time they change. Mine took about two weeks to start trusting me. How once i catch them, they l**k my fingers and rumble a bit, but they always try to run around lol.

make sure you feed the little guy well - with lettuce, tomatoes, carrots and cucumbers. and apples and some caulifower too.

as for the social security part.. sorry im from australia.
