Guitar bar chord fingering?

7 or---3 when i bar my finger my index is kinda on its side, is

8-----3 this a problem? if so how can i change it

it should be on its side, likely. try going to a music store and have them lower your guitar strings a wee bit, it might help. but you need to practice them and make sure you can hear all the notes. or you could do what i did: try them once, forget them for three years, and the next time you try them you will be a master.

no this is normal trust me, it will change if ur figers grow or get used to it, but it is ok for it to be on its side

The bar finger should be on its side and slightly bent. Don't change anything.
