Guitar books for lesons?

I was wondering if anyone knew any good books on how t learn electric guitar. Teaching myself isn't going soo great.

    Look around the site as well,they have chords,scales, chord progressions etc.,etc., pretty good site.

  6. What style of guitar playing are you hoping to learn?  There are guitar books for fingerpicking, blues, jazz, classical, rock, etc.

    While you can find a lot of free lessons online, you'll find a lot of scattered information that might not be very helpful or relevant to where you are at.  One idea, rather than buying a guitar book, is to enroll for like 39 bucks in an online guitar course that is outlined with all the information you'd ever need and taught with videos by an instructor.
