Gumline pushed down?

i know there are operations where people have their gumline pushed up/cut, but do people ever have their gumline pushed down?

yes there is an operation where gum tissue is attached to your gums like a gum graft or gingival graft. however, its quite expensive, a lot more than having the gums cut. :]

there is a surgery to replace gum tissue in an area but it has to be in good condition or its  a waste of money. you'll have to see a periodontist, they specialize in gums. if you don't know of one see your regular dentist and they should point you in the right direction.
