hey guys most of us saw the americans come close to the gold tonight but falling just short(no shame in a silver thou) anyway im wondering what day the all around womens competion is? and im also wondering what event finals is shawn johnson in, and what days the event finals shes in are on.

The women's all-around competition takes place Friday, August 15 at 11:15 am (Beijing time).  If you're in the United States, that's 11:15 pm Eastern Time on Thursday, August 14.  NBC will be showing it live.

Shawn is in event finals for Floor and Beam.  Here's the schedule:

Floor Finals

Competition: Sunday, August 17 at 8:15 pm (Beijing time)

NBC Broadcast: Sunday, August 17 at 7:00 pm Eastern Time (taped)

Beam Finals

Competiton: Tuesday, August 19 at 5:45 pm (Beijing time)

NBC Broadcast: Tuesday, August 19 at 8:00 pm Eastern Time (taped)
