H1B Class Consulate or POE ?

Hi All,

I currently live in Montreal, Canada and I have just received my H1B approval notice. In my approval notice the class consulate or POE is mentioned as Toronto. Can some one clarify if I can only go to Toronto consulate for stamping or I can go to Montréal Consulate? If so will I need some additional documents while I go for stamping?

"Class Consulate or POE - H1B TORONTO". What does it mean? Does this mean I need to get my Visa stamping done at Toronto consulate only?

If you are a citizen of Canada, you are exempt the visa requirement so you can go straight to a port of entry. If you are not a Canadian citizen, you need to make an appointment at the consulate that has jurisdiction over where you live in Canada. You're probably closer to Toronto.

You'll need the approval notice and your passport.
