I have a HD TV but I do not have HD Cable Box. I am using a Coax Cable and was wondering if I hook up the S-Cable if it would make any difference in the picture. NOt sure and i don't want to go to the trouble if it does nothing.

  1. The SD cable box should be hooked-up to the TV with an S cable and the red/white audio cables. As far as whether you would see a difference is concerned-maybe. It depends on whether your set's processing of one input type is better than the other.

Where you should see a difference is in the audio. Most cable boxes do not put out an RF signal with stereo audio. So if uors is one of those, using the S cable and red/white audio cables, you'll get stereo sound.

  2. All you need is an HDMI cable....don't bother getting the most expensive one either, they are all the same....An HDMI will give you an HD picture
