I have prom and I need a date. They say if you act all funny and stuff girls will come to me, what things should I say?

Are you sure that you are attracting the right type of girls by acting unreal? If acting funny is the real you, that is one thing.  Your approach is like casting a wide net with the wrong baits.

Be a man.  Go ask the girl whom you really like: "Do you like to go to the Prom with me?" If and when she declines, you know where you stand.  But don't quite give it up yet.  Try to sweeten the pot, like, "I would have my chauffeur to pick you up by 7." "My voiture comes with champaign and caviar."   Then show up by yourself - that is your funny side.

When all is failed, asked her if she knows some one who like to go to the prom but also is having a date issue.
