HEELLPP! please!?Any dentists?

I'm 15 and have noticed my two front teeth are becoming more translucent at the bottom mainly one also has a slight hole in it not all the way through though. I've been rinsing with Hydrogen peroxide and water 3% with water = 1.5% twice a day for a minuet. could this be the cause? Should I stop? And how could I solve it.I go to an NHS dentist possibly veneers? what are the prices with the NHS (under 18)?

I would recommend you go to a dentist soon, treatment for under 18's free on the NHS.

Not sure what is happening to your teeth as it's difficult to say without doing a full check up. All I can say is make sure you brush your teeth twice daily for at least 2 min each time and go to the dentist regularly.

Stop with the hydrogen peroxide.  This is not only damaging to your enamel but to the soft tissues in your mouth.  

Although tooth whitening materials used in dentistry may contain hydrogen peroxide they are mixed with other ingredients and tested extensively.

The slight hole could be erosion , but it's difficult to say.  Cut out acid stuff like fizzy drinks (including water,) citrus fruits and and vinegar based foods, and don't brush your teeth immediately after having these foods.

You will probably find that by using a good fluoride toothpaste the translucency will lessen and your teeth will hopefully return to normal.

if the damage is extensive and your teeth need to be protected from further damage then veneers might be an option, but this is more a cosmetic treatment and not always available on the NHS, so even if you are under 18 and don't have to pay, they might not be included in what your dentist can do for you free of charge.

Any treatment to the teeth is damaging, so don't go down this road just for the sake of a little translucency or a tiny pin prick hole.  The veneers are not just stuck on ; they need to be prepared first.

make an appt as soon as you can so that your dentist can check over the situation and give you more advice and help.

no the rince thing is fine and the hole is usaly ok in my cild hod i had som of them.
