  1. well....GCSE bitesize is good   (media is great isnt it?)

maybe jst type in  GCSE online or summit  that might work

  2. i have no gcses or a levels and i am now on 37 grand a year working as part of a management team for a large company

stop being pathetic you dont need GCSES you work hard and you work your way up and you get the good jobs

  3. Hire a tutor  !i

  4. dont bother doin ne work dat isnt assigned over da summer hols caz *** gcse tym ull of 4gotten it, jus relax b4 u go bk 2 skool and have a huge pile of coursework.

  5. If you have any questions that you want to put to other students, try signing up to:

    http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/

As the website blurb says, it's  "where GCSE, A Level and university students share academic and social knowledge: from study help, to choosing a university, careers, and student life."

This is the GCSE bitesize website:

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/gcsebitesiz...

It has helpful revision for most units that are in GCSE subjects, and you can try your knowledge out with multiple choice tests at the end of every revision section.

    As for individual subjects:

    MUSIC:

    http://www.soundjunction.org/gcsemusicre...

    BUSINESS STUDIES:

    http://www.revision-notes.co.uk/GCSE/Bus...

    ENGLISH:

    http://www.revisioncentre.co.uk/gcse/re/...

    MATHS:

    http://www.gcseguide.co.uk/mathsgcseguid...

I would also advise getting a revision guide for the subjects that you feel it is worth investing in. I found that these were the best:

    http://www.cgpbooks.co.uk/predefined.asp

My school actually gave them out for most of the subjects, or you could buy them through the school so you probably already know about them. If you struggle with the books for English Literature, try looking around in your bookshops or on the internet, because you can buy revision guides for most of the books on the syllabus- my friend bought them for Of Mice and Men and An Inspector Calls.

My tip for getting good marks is make sure you put everything into your coursework. That way it's a bit of a back-up if you make a mistake on the day of the exam. I got full marks for my Graphics coursework but in the exam my fineliner ran through all of the pages where I was going to be marked for the accuracy of my drawings so I had to restart and there were still four A3 pages left blank when the time was up. Despite this, I still got an A because of my coursework :] I know it's hard in Year 11 because a lot of people lose the work ethic because they are bored in their school and overwhelmed, but it's worth it in the long run.

Also- the grade boundaries are a lot lower than people think they are, so don't panic, revise well and you should be fine.

Oh, and by the time you get to A-Level, nobody seems to care about GCSE- trust me!

    Good luck :]

  6. im getting my results tomorow, and gosh, dreading it!

cantthink of any good books or such, but just FOCUS! thats where i let myself down, nomatter how hard the work is just think its worth it inthe long run! have good will power, and dont get hooked on the laptop/computer.. i think thats where alot of my wasted time went!

    good luck babe xx
