What do you think the benefits of leaving school early in grade 10 or 11 is?

I want everybody's opinion and please help me!

Start early in the workforce supposedly, and then supposedly being able to finance, and safe earnings sooner

just a couple of things, bill gates is worth like $50 billion and he was a high-school dropout.

i use this scenario when i try to sway my mum into letting me leave:

a man finishes year 12, studies at uni for a while and gets his degree or whatever, then tries to apply for a job that matches his qualifications, but he cant. he is left jobless and out of money (and luck) and begins to spiral downward.

another man leaves in year 10, gets a casual job and gradually moves up in his career. eventually, he has his own car, and deposit on a house with a steady job he has been in for many years.

compare them, and they may seem stupid lol.

from my experience kids are too dumb to leave that early.

If you leave school early you get a lot of work experience before your school friends. And that's a plus. More then that you start to make connections that can help you to advance in the future.

Possible future:

When you finish high school you can get a job in the area you are interested in. You are nice and hardworking. In the following years you save money and when you have enough you enroll in night school.

A couple of years later you get a degree and (having inside info) on the first opening in the company you apply for a promotion.

Possible future 2:

You self employ. You get a good idea and you start workin night and day to give your company a name.

These two are the best case scenario in my opinion. There is a possibility that you get a minimal wage job and get stuck with it for the rest of your life. Then come the kids, house to pay, school tuition....and you strugle to get by.

If you ask me leaving after finishing high school can be good, but at the condition that later you get back and get some kind of degree.
