Okay so i wear make-up almost everyday. I do it the best way i can though. I use a daily moisturizer with SPF and i take off my make-up before i go to bed. I have REALLY dry skin around my eyes so i put the moisturizer around them and that seems to help but then i put on liquid concearlor around my eyes (becausei have the DARKEST dark circles ever) and it turns it all clumpy! it looks horrible!! what can i do to help this??

  1. the darker the circles, the less you want to use something liquidy. i have really dark circles, too. i used to use liquid, but it didnt last very long and looked nasty. i switched to a cream stick from maybelline. i use the yellow concealer stick that looks like lipstick. it's really affordable, and about $5-$6, and easy to use. the yellow covers up the blue purpleness. i use my ring finger and apply it all over my eye (top and bottom), but only dabbing it and not smudging it. and then use a pressed powder or loose powder (i use bareminerals) over them to blend in.

  2. use lubriderm with spf.

then put on liquid concealer. i use maybelline (in the tube).

then i put cover girl pressed powder over my face.

then the eye shadow, lipstick, blush etc...

many lotions with spf make your complexion "cakey"

other good ones are Purpose by Johnson and Johnson, and Neutrogena regular spf which i use over my regular lubriderm

    hope this helps..

there are also lots of night creams you can put under your eyes.

And get all the beauty sleep  you can girlie!! =)

  3. ...

  4. i get exactly the same thing as u

and the dark circles etc (everything ;p )

but i have blemishes too :/ and red patches ;/

but one thing i use differently is :

    try a face/body scrub(liquid nothing else)

if its for the body then only wash softly(to prevent soreness)

but if it says ''face'' then wash normally

then put the moisturizer on,thats should do the job, does it for me

p.s do the scrub thing hmmm about 3-4 days, bcoz then it will go s**+***t all over again, and NO1 wants that ;)

    xoxo

  5. I think the problem is that you're putting concealer over moisturizer. I think you're overloading with products and that's where the clumpiness comes from.

Go to a decent quality make-up counter and ask their advice (bearing in mind they'll be selling their own product) and go from there. Be prepared to pay for quality products too. Nothing looks worse than cheap make-up.

  6. What you should do is to use a light moisturizing eye cream...not oily. But then use an oily councealer. I've had the same problem...not with the  clumpyness but the dry skin.

I've tried lots of concealers and my favorite was Christian Dior!

  7. Go to your local beauty counter with no makeup and ask what they can give you to fix your eyes.

Or, if you have a local Sephora or Ulta, call and set up a free makeover!

  8. Uhm... Maybe it's the liquid concealer? I use Avon Cream-to-Powder Foundation. It works really well. It would probably help.
