HELP! Which English GCSE is it?!?

Question

Sorry...It's kind of urgent.

Does ANYONE know what English exam the one tomorrow is?!

Is it the non-fiction one or the descriptive writing one?

Please, if you have any idea, let me know...because if it's the latter I need to quickly make up a short story Dx

Well I take AQA English Higher Tier, (not sure which specification though), and tomorrow I have Media and unseen non-fiction texts (comprehension paper) and writing to argue/persuade/advise. Good luck.

if its AQA then its reading for an hour then writing for 45 minutes

Jeez, yes i can see y u say that it's urgent!

tomorrow we have English Language Paper 1.

That is the fiction 1 - not the non-fiction

It contributes to 30 or 40% of our final english grade

The test involves 2 fiction passages. You have to answer 4 questions on these (A1, A2, A3, A4)

Then you have 2 writing tasks:

B1 = description

B2 = narrative - short story. Ur given different options for the title.

A1, A2, A3, A4 = 10 marks each

I think B1 is 10 marks

And B2 is 20 marks

I think - don't take my word for it.

I wudn't worry too much about preparing. Just go over any notes you have made on exam technique, and yes thinking of a short story wud be a useful thing to do. I'm gunna do that!!
