  1. Is it possible that you used a tampon that you forgot about? This sounds like it could be more than just a heavy period. If it continues You should see your doctor.

  2. I think it takes a while for your period to become normal.  Don't worry for now.  Give it a few months....it will get heavier and redder.  Don't worry.  If you continue sharp pains, maybe see your doctor.

  3. Probably just a blood clot.  Its normal.  Is it sort of a cramping pain.  If so thats normal too.

  4. i am 14 too. dont worry it is normal the darker the blood appears on the pad the heavy your flow is. just keep changing your pad. the little clumps are normal and happen all the time but normally at least for me it doesnt cause all that pain. i think you just have cramps... take tylenol or something for the cramps. good luck!!

  5. Totally normal. Blood changes colour based on several different factors. Your "piece of tissue or something" is tissue, the lining of your uterus to be exact. Throughout the month your uterus builds up a lining preparing for an egg to attach to it. If there's no fertilized egg then the body sheds the lining and creates a new one the next cycle. It will take awhile for your body to regulate, so things might seem a little weird for the first few years. As for sharp pains, some women get really bad cramps. As crazy as it sounds since you're not going to want to do it, taking a little stroll through the neighborhood will help settle them. If they don't improve, talk with your doctor and they'll explain your options.
