my wood work teacher expects me to know how to write a step by step procedure on making a cabinet

I HAVE NO BLOODY CLUE!

It shouldn't be too difficult once you decide the dimensions etc, then you need to decide how you want to join it, you should have covered this in class already. Perhaps you can get online for ideas, but remember not to plagerise other peoples work.

you are on the right track. then it just a matter of getting a sheet of ply wood , marking it all out . cutting it and assembling the basic carcass. , install a shelf and hinged doors and you are there. that is the basics of it. it is alittle  more complicated. you can make that up as you go.

other way is to pull one apart and then do the report in reverse so it looks like you are building it

There are plenty of diy step by step cabinet making sites on google, just look it up and pick one.

Start with 1x12 stock and cut the top and bottom at 24 1/2 .Cut the two side pcs. at 32".Nail the top and bottom to the sides.The top must cover the side edge.Cut the two doors at 32".Buy two hinges and mount the doors to the frame.
