  1.   Wow!  Congratulations! Right off hand I can't come up with ideas that would involve the children in your ceremony but I do like the guys answer about letting the kids write something on their own.  Maybe they could all sing a love song.  One idea I had was to allow the kids to carry battery operated lanterns instead of flowers if the wedding is going to be in the evening.  It would look awesome and the boys would not be uncomfortable.  Good luck to the new family!

  2. I really think a cruise would be a awesome idea.  There are all kinds of supervised activities for your children.  You and your husband will have time to relax and enjoy yourselves.

They have many excursions you might enjoy as a family.

    Best wishes to you.

  3. Get a three wick  unity candle and allow the children if old enough  to light the candle together with you and your husband the candle below is just an example there are a lot of options available

  4. where are you doing it? you could go to eat afterwards.. or go across town and have a family vacation as a honeymoon.  go to the beach, just stay in a hotel somewhere and do local stuff.. just something fun.. have a picnic...?

  5. I had a small wedding with my 2 children in our home. I did all the decorating, very inexpensive, and made the flowers for us all, as well as doing both mine and my daughters hair to match. Although my family was there to attend I think this would be as memorable for you. I included my children. They both had parts to read during the ceremony. They were Scriptures of love from Corinthians. I don't remember the scripture by heart but I believe it was in Chapter 2 and it speaks of love bearing all things and the gifts we have but the greatest of them being love. That made it special to my kids and it was precious to me. I had it videoed by my brother and I will always cherish it! I went to a consignment shop and bought a beautiful Victorian beige wedding dress and my daughters dress for $45.00. I did have to rent my husband and sons tux but in all, including an hour long limousine ride, total cost was about $1500.00.

  6. it would help if you said how old the kids are, since they are 3/4 of the guest list

  7. go away on a cruise...vacation....road trip....

  8. I guess you could be Snow White  and the kids and your husband could be the seven dwarfs.

  9. Since you're options our limited, let your children be very involved in the wedding. Let them read something that is special to them and to the both of you (or something like that)

  10. Get married at the park and have a barbecue reception on the spot.

  11. you should do the sand cermony.. you have a color sand.. he has a color sand... and so does you six children and you poor it into one container so that it shows how your family joined together....

  12. Pick a nice spot not too far away (or even far away, if you can afford it), go away for a few days and get married there. Yosemite is a beautiful place to get married.

  13. a garden full of beautiful flowers.

    :]

  14. I think you need at least a couple of other adults to witness your marriage and sign your license, so think of who you'll invite. If those friends could also babysit your children so that you could have a romantic evening alone with your fiance, so much the better.

Have your kids help make the decorations. Paper chains, flower chains, etc. aren't that expensive and would make your kids feel more involved.

If you live near a park or forest, you could have a lovely and inexpensive ceremony there.

  15. go to the park. get a passer-byer to take pics for u guys. hehehe

  16. go somewhere extremely fancy for dinner as the "reception" and make the ceremony intimate and romantic.

  17. You should really go all out and do a destination wedding.  You might be able to find a place where you will be able to get some time away from your kids after the ceremony.  Many places offer full service wedding packages for small ceremonies.

  18. 6 kids?? wow. that is a lot.

  19. I think that it would be more fun and memorable to have family. I would make sure that I would have my dad with me!!!

Maybe you could change the date?

I hope no matter what happens, I hope it is an amazing time!!!

And it is the most special day of your life!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    :)

  20. are you doing it in a court house and how did he go about getting married
