HID headlamps: stupid or dumb?

Question

I really hate them. I hate being blinded by these supposedly safety concerned drivers that get cars with HID headlights. Why do people always feel the need to ruin the road for everyone else in order to be "safer" (SUVs are another fantastic example: "I like my gigantic SUV because I can see over everyone else", to which I respond: good for you, too bad nobody can see around or over you...)

Both Stupid and Dumb and I agree with you 125 percent, they cause more problems than they are worth........
