Is this like financial aid where they will make you repay if you drop classes?

That is why its always a bad idea to drop classes.  You pay for them, but you still have to pay for them.... you just have the added benefit of getting no credit for them now.  Bad idea.  No you don't have to repay the hope credit back if you drop your classes, because you did actually paid for them... even if you didn't finish them.
