HOV LANes in Houston?

so there is a new proposal in the air about turning our HOV lanes into Toll Lanes?! Everyone is mad because for one.. its just another way for Uncle Sam to squeez another dollar out of us... and It kind of defeats the purpose, because now it will accessible to all traffic, which means it will no longer be sufficient for car poolers... anyways.. i just wanted Houstonians opinions on the matter... Do you agree or disagree with the new proposal?
