I have a problem with my hair. In the morning (5:20) i get up and take a shower and wash my hair (herbal essence pin straight shampoo). Afterwards I spray leave in conditioner in my hair and blow dry it. After I blow dry it I straighten it. I get it as hot as it will go and afterwards I hairspray it. But once I get to school (7:40) it already starts to curl. Please help me find out what is wrong. Oh btw my hair is naturally curly. After I blow dry it, it looks like a loose spiral perm, but messy. Help please.

  1. The kiyoseki is the best straightner in the world trust me on this one.It can straighten and it can curl your hair if you want. And also when it hot outside your hair stays straight it will not frizz outside. This iron is also healthy for your hair.My hair is poofy frizzy SUPER curly and it works so good on my hair. I really cant live without it. To so see the commercial and reviews go to www.kstyler.com and if you have any questions you can always email me hope this helped.=)

your hair gets curly cause of the wind or hot air outside so use this it will help.

  2. Try hair spraying your hair before and after you straighten it.

and before straightening, try using got2be Crazy sleek hair straightening and blow dry lotion.

It works on my hair very well.

And gives it shine and moisture!

But don't use too much or you might have a greasy feel to it.

  3. your heat setting is too high. you also have to make sure you don't over straighten it or touch it.

  4. What type of straightener are you using? I would recommend spending a few extra bucks to get a good quality one. (They usually range between 50-100 dollars) But they are totally worth the purchase.

Also, I would find one which uses a lot of heat, (mine goes up to 350 degrees) The hotter the straightener the longer it will hold. HOWEVER, the down-side of using a straightener that is so hot is that your hair is more likely to become damaged. Always use a spray heat-guard before you straighten.

Usually your hair starts to curl when it hits moisture, which is why a high-powered straightener will work best.

I would also use a 'holding' serum (not spray) to finish your look.

I hope that helped, and after all of that if your hair still doesn't stay straight, I would get it chemically relaxed. Some people just have hair that is TOO wild, and chemicals are the only way to change your hair.
