Halloween costume-making? Please help?

Ok, so I know it's pretty early for halloween, but I'm making a Ganesh costume this year and I need some help. for those of you who don't know who Ganesh is, he's the Hindu god of removing obstacles...the one who has an elephant trunk. I'm not Hindu, just trying to be creative. I need advice for the extra arms and the trunk...how exactly should I do that?

muld it with glue and news paper or go buy rubber ones

Well for the elephant trunk, as stupid as this sounds, you could alwaystake the trunk off of an elephant model or plush toy of some sort, preferably a big one.

For the arms, i'm not sure if they'd give you them but you could maybe get some arms from unused manequinns at a mall or department store??
