The Red Shorts have expressed confidence in their abilities as they seek to avoid relegation with seven games remaining this season.

Sporting director, Frank Arnesen, expressed his disappointment at the loss which has left the Red Shorts with the prospect of falling into the relegation zone this weekend. Hamburg are two points clear of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/SC-Freiburg-c40462, who are 16th
in the standings but have a game in hand against bottom placed Kaiserslautern on Saturday.
Arnesen mentioned that his players gave their heart out and deserved to get something out of the game. He insisted that the Imtech Arena outfit was extremely unlucky to drop points against Die Wolfe especially after scoring the
equaliser just one minute after Mandzukic opened the scoring in the second-half.
However, the sporting director assured that Hamburg will not repeat the mistakes from Wolfsburg game and will definitely avoid dropping into the danger zone. He encouraged his troops to keep performing in the same manner and try
stopping the opposition from scoring.
While talking to sportinglife.com, Arnesen further added:
"We gave everything and we were on a par with Wolfsburg and a draw would have been fair. It is important that the team takes this attitude out of this game. If we manage this in our coming games, which I am convinced we will, then
we will also pick up points. We don't need to panic, we just need experience, which I and the coaching team have, as well as the team.”
On the other hand, Wolfsburg manager Felix Magath showed his delight after grabbing all three points. He specified that it was a must-win game for his side as they wanted to ensure their survival this season and concentrate better
on the remaining games.
"It was immensely important to win because now we will have nothing more to do with relegation. Now the fans don't need to panic until the end either," Magath concluded.
Die Wolfe are currently eighth in the Bundesliga with 37 points and will next be in action against Hertha http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Berlin-c7536 on Saturday, March 31, at the Olympiastadion.
