Hampster Help!?

1 Question: So, I really want a hampster but I need to prove to my parents that I will not get bored of it. How do I do this? 2. Question: If I do get a hampster which kind? I am debating a Teddy Bear hampster, a Syrain hampster, or a Roborovski. Right now I am leaning towards Teddy Bear hampster, because I have a great name for one and that is Teddy. Please answer a question or both if you can! Also suggest good names ( I am horrible at brainstorming) THANKS!

a teddy bear hamster probably is the smartest choice, robos are too fast and jittery for first time owners. to convince your mom, use your own money, so if you get bored of it then you wasted your own money, not hers.
