Hamster Stuff?

My hamster won't run on its wheel? Explanation?

Tip: hamsters dont like silent wheels(unfortunetly, lol)

if its a dwarf hamster, than u should have the smallest wheel u can possibly get.

if its a syrian hamster/a big hamster, u should get one that is two times bigger then him/her.

By the way, dont get the wire ones because your hammy's feet might get stuck in it.

I f after u read this and everything that you did was right, you should probably take your buddy to a veterinarian( a pet doctor)

my hamster didnt run on her wheel till i showed her how to, maybe it doesnt know how run on it.

I had a hamster once that wouldn't get in the wheel but stand on the outside on its back legs and push the wheel with his front legs. It was the weirdest thing. It was pretty cute but we never could figure it out. I did show him how to run in it too but he didn't like using his back legs.

it could be that it doesnt know how to run on the wheel yet or that it just doesnt want to right now so show it how to run on its wheel and just give it time. If you just got it then it might be trying to get used to its new house or if you have had it for a while then it might not want to run on its wheel right now or again doesnt know how to...congrats on having a hammy, i love mine she is soooooo cute!!!

I had a hamster that never ran on his wheel either. Some just don't like it. I had another that was addicted to it. It's just personality
