Hamster names? Bedding? Breed?

Question

Tomorrow we are going to the pet store to buy hamsters!

1. I am thinking of getting 2 Robo. Hamsters so they can live in a pair (both male or both female) Is this a good idea? Is there any other breeds you can put together as a pair?

2. People say carefresh is the best bedding to use as sawdust and other things are bad for your hamster. Is this right? Suggestions for bedding???

3. Out of the following pair names which is the best (no more ideas i have already done a question for that and this is what i have come up with)

Chocolate and chip

Peanut and butter

Batman and Robin (males)

Ben and Jerrie (as in the icecream!)

Sugar and Spice

Bubble and Squeak

Please answer questions and choose your fav set of names!

bubble and squeak but make sure that one of them likes to squeak.i have care fresh and it is great!so yes it is the best kind in the world.it lasts long too and makes the cage not stink for a while.anything else?oh yeah robos are great.girls are less aggressive.if they do fight it is just playing                             hope i helped!

1. Get two female Dwarfs instead. Robos are fast, tiny, escape a lot, and aren't like other hamster breeds. You should get two female Dwarfs because I have Dwarfs and I can help you with any more questions you have about your babies. Maybe we can keep in touch with each others hamsters!

2.I use Alfapet for my bedding. It is very good bedding. I would get Alfapet if I were you. And, for food, get Premium. It's the best. I use it for my hamsters.

3.I like Bubble and Squeak. But my personal favorite hamster names would be Cocoa and Milky.

I like Ben and Jerrie!

I always have had sawdust for my hamsters and they have always been fine and well - just dont get the really fine stuff. Also get some of the snuggle bedding, the really soft stuff as mine seem to like that for their beds!

don't mix breeds. You've got the right idea on the same s*x placement and bedding.

Roborovkskis are good hamsters, although are very fast and agile and may be hard to catch.  Carefresh is most definately the best bedding out there, although Aspen shavings may be used as well.  Personally for names, I say get to know them first and see what you think, you may find none of those names suit your new hamsters.  Although if your heart is set, I like Ben and Jerrie.
