  1. ok, the reason for businesses to make surveys is because they want to know what product is in demand and what product is not. this is to plan out what products to order. surveys can also find the target market (i.e. what type of ppl will buy ur products)

a sample survey for a business selling computer products will be,

    1)   what type of computer do you have? (that question is to find out how ppl are with technology)

    2)   what age group are you? (this question is to find out what the target market is, it should be combined with question 1 to get precise target market)

    3)   if you were to buy computer products, where would you buy it? (this question is to find a good location for the business to run)

    Hope this helps =)

  2. Ok, Market research is like finding out whether people will actually be interested in using your service and product before you start otherwise you may go to all the expense of starting up your business only to find no one will buy  or use it.

How, well you could do a shopping centre survey where you make up some questions and then you stand in the shopping centre and talk to passersby and fill in the survey as you go. things like that.

What, you would ask questions based on your product or business type, to find out what people thought and what they might actually like to see so that when you did start the business you would get more customers straight away because it would be something that lots of people wanted to see happen there.

    Hope that kind of helps.

  3. i think they mean a survey where you find out what your local district wants to see what direction you should head in. So questions like "What do you think this district needs? (such as a new business)", "What is the first thing you notice when you walk into a shop?" things like this so you know what areas to focus on and which to worry about as much.
